Report the Loss
Call the insurance provider directly to file your claim. Or, click your insurance provider’s name to visit their website to get more information on how to start your claim. Note: If you have flood damage, contact your insurance provider or FEMA.

Take Photos
If it is safe to do so, take as many photos of the damage as possible for your personal records and to expedite your claims process. You may need to submit these to your claims examiners at a later date so they can see the full scope of your damage.
